Don’t freak out on me now. I’m not telling you that you shouldn’t go out to dinner with your sweetie or go away for the weekend. (Were you thinking a B & B? I like B & Bs.) You need to enjoy life. I get it and support it. What I am telling you is, **in order for Profit First to have a permanent impact on your life, you need to build as big a gap as possible between what you earn and what you spend.** The more cash you can collect, the better, because at a certain point money starts earning you substantial money, all by itself. Money yields interest and returns from investments. And remember, once the money you have collected yields more new money every year than you spend in a year, you have achieved financial freedom.
